Professor Marisa Miraldo (she/her) · Founder
“I believe that lasting change begins with the courage to ask better questions.”
Marisa Miraldo is Professor of Health Economics and Founder of 364 Days. A longstanding advocate for gender equity and institutional change, she founded and chaired the Gender Equity Committee and subsequently the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee at Imperial Business School. She played an instrumental role in the School’s pioneering Athena Swan submission, contributing more than 50 recommendations to its gender-equality agenda and helping the School secure its first Athena Swan Bronze Award. Her contribution to advancing gender equality and inclusion was also recognised with a Julia Higgins Award. She is also a co-founder of the Women’s Health Network of Excellence at Imperial College London.
Marisa founded 364 Days because she believes that silence protects systems, while questions create the possibility of change. Too many people who experience bullying, harassment and discrimination feel they have no voice, or fear that speaking up will come at a personal cost. 364 Days is her way of helping those voices be heard—not by asking individuals to relive their experiences, but by asking what institutions should be prepared to answer. Through 364 Days, she hopes to turn questions into a collective force for transparency, accountability and lasting institutional change.
