Privacy and data use
364 Days is designed to collect questions, not personal testimony. The main survey does not ask for your name, email address, exact job title, department or personal story. We ask for your institution, country, city, selected questions and optional demographic information so that results can be analysed fairly and institutions can be placed accurately on the map. You do not have to answer optional demographic questions.
Survey results will be published only in aggregate. Individual responses will not be published. Demographic breakdowns will only be published where there are at least 10 responses in the relevant group and where the combination of data is not likely to identify anyone. Where fewer than 10 responses are available, categories may be combined or suppressed. We may also suppress results above this threshold where a small group, rare demographic combination or institutional context could create a risk of identification.
Participation is voluntary. You may stop completing the survey at any point before submission. Once responses have been submitted, they cannot usually be withdrawn because the survey is designed not to collect identifying information that would allow us to locate an individual response.
Ambassador forms are separate from the survey. If you submit an ambassador expression of interest, we will use your contact details only to communicate with you about the ambassador network.
The mailing-list form is also separate from the survey. If you provide your name and email and explicitly consent to updates, those details will be used only to send 364 Days news and participation updates. You may unsubscribe at any time. Mailing-list details are not linked to confidential survey responses.
Raw individual-level survey data will not be sold or shared with institutions, funders, partners or ambassadors. Access will be limited to the 364 Days team and authorised processors supporting the survey, website, analysis or publication.
The survey itself includes fuller participant information and consent wording. Website contact forms may be processed by our hosting provider when the site is deployed.
